Solio Xcellerator Solar Charger + Hub Battery Pack Chargers Solio While it would be great if every day was sunny, the reality is that many days are cloudy and some locations for solar charging are shaded from direct sunlight for some part of the day. The Xcellerator is designed to work either stand-alone with the included 2000mAh HUB battery pack, or can be used to boost the charging speed of any other current gen Solio product, including the CLIP-MINI, BOLT, and CLASSIC2. On a sunny day using the Xcellerator, Solio product charge times are cut approximately by half. For example the CLIP-MINI charges in 2 hours while the BOLT and HUB charge in 4 hours. For typical cloudy conditions, charging takes 4 hours for the CLIP-MINI, or 8 hours for the HUB and BOLT. The included HUB battery pack includes all of the ease of use features of the Solio BOLT and CLASSIC2. Since the Xcellerator + HUB pack is modular, for everyday use the XCELLERATOR solar panel may be left behind while the lightweight HUB battery pack easily fits into a pocket. For charging when the sun goes down, the HUB battery can be charged using the included microUSB cable from any USB wall adapter or your computer's USB port. Simply plug into your electronic device and press a button to start charging, and the status-indicator LED on the button will show the battery's power level. Two output modes may be selected. The selectable Apple output mode is optimized for Apple products, while the default output is optimized for most other devices. The HUB's powerful 1A output will charge most devices at the same rate as their dedicated wall charger.
